On January 24, 2016, Eugene Burger Management Corporation (EBMC) was visited by Mark Fugisawa, CPM and his team from Art Avenue and Owner’s Agent. Art Avenue and Owner’s Agent are located in Tokyo, Japan. Members in the study group included:

Over the course of the four-day visit, members provided a tour of The Palladio in Reno, Nevada, Carson Catalina Apartments and Carson Lanes Retail Center in Carson City, Nevada and EBMC’s headquarters office in Rohnert Park, California.
The topics of discussions included: U.S. lending, marketing and leasing of commercial, multifamily and single family properties, property management best practices, and the latest EBMC human resources management, communications, technology and use (and knowledge) of property management products and services. Twelve EBMC members gave presentations over the course of the four-day visit.
Staff of EBMC, Art Avenue and Owner’s Agent had opportunities to network at a lively dinner which included dancing and a magic show by Tomoya Katahira.
Art Avenue and Owner’s Agent visited EBMC in 2013 and in 2015, Eugene Burger, CPM, Shirley Burger, Stephen Burger, CPM and Lori Burger, CPM traveled to Tokyo and visited Art Avenue and Owners’ Agent. All three companies are members of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
