Certifications Continue for EBMC Pros: Baldridge Earns Her CMCA

ROHNERT PARK, CA--We reported recently on EBMC’s Carra Clampitt earning her Specialty Certificate in Large-Scale Community Management.

Underscoring EBMC’s emphasis on credentialed, professional service, Malinda Baldridge, senior community association manager in the Reno office, is now a Certified Manager of Community Associations, a designation earned through the Community Associations Institute.

The Institute’s stated purpose is to “ensure that community association managers practice with professionalism, integrity and knowledge.” The CMCA certification program is the only internationally accredited certification program in the field.

The certification process itself demands a minimum of five years of management experience and passing a rigorous written exam.

Malinda Baldridge is a more-than-10-year veteran of EBMC in Reno, who already holds her Supervisory Certified Association Manager Designation through the State of Nevada.

But it won’t stop here, as the manager states, and over the next two years, “I plan on pursuing my Association Management Specialist and my Professional Community Association Manager designations.” Both are offered through the Community Associations Institute.

“Malinda’s hard work and commitment, both to EBMC and to her own professional development, is a classic example of a win/win,” says EBMC president Stephen L. Burger. “It underscores for everyone, the general community and everyone at EBMC, exactly what it means to strive for excellence in our profession.”
