ROHNERT PARK, CA--The North Bay Business Journal has honored
Corinne Heald with a Facilities Manager Recognition Award. Heald is a 18-year
veteran of Eugene Burger Management Corp. She is among 10 local facilities
managers so recognized at the paper’s recent awards luncheon, sponsored by the
Trope Group and Scott Technology Group.
According to the paper, “These
award winners help keep the lights on, maintain vehicles or make sure customers
have the best experience possible when visiting facilities such as wineries or
business parks. The award winners were nominated either by their supervisors,
vendors or others who work with them day-to-day.”
On behalf of EBMC, Heald serves as facilities manager the
Petaluma Valley Medical Center in Petaluma. In that capacity, she works directly with managing partner Dr. Jason
Bacharach, and the tenants of the 16 suites to coordinate such maintenance
services as exterior landscaping, pest control, interior plumbing and
electrical. The three buildings total approximately 20,450 square feet.
In addition to her
role for EBMC clients, Heald also holds a dual responsibility at the firm’s corporate office,
carrying the titles of both office and facilities manager. The 10,000-square-foot building, constructed
in 1976, is owned by EBMC founder Eugene J. Burger. The building was previously owned by the City
of Rohnert Park and housed the local Library.
As facilities manager, Heald works seamlessly with building
ownership and its occupants, coordinating maintenance services in and outside
the building, including landscaping, janitorial, electrical, plumbing, pest
control and fire inspections. In her role as office manager, she supervises six
administrative personnel who work with corporate staff as well as regional
property managers.Heald also assists
EBMC’s 11 other office locations with corporate matters such as office supply
ordering and accounting issues.
This is not Heald’s first service recognition. In December
2009, she was given the EBMC Plus Award, given to staff members who have been
employed on a continuous basis for seven years and have represented by action
and attitude the firm’s best interests.
Overall, Heald provides indispensable support to EBMC operations
and serves as a prime example of the excellent customer service that sets EBMC
apart from the competition.
EBMC has 11 offices that provide full service property
management for commercial and residential properties throughout the Western States.
